Energy Architecture was commissioned to design two identical blast resistant control rooms on an existing plant site. The 2,000 SF CMU block structures were designed to resist a 2psi peak side pressure with an 87 psi-ms impulse. The buildings house locker rooms, control rooms, offices and conference rooms for plant workers.
