Energy Architecture specializes in the design of highly technical buildings in the industrial, higher education and laboratory sectors both domestically and internationally.  We are currently seeking a Project Architect, Intern / Designer and Interior Designer to assist our team in the design and production of projects in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

Position: Project Architect

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include creating and directing others in the production of construction documents and specifications, coordination with consultants and document QA/QC through all phases of projects.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should be self-motivated, a team player and have a strong work ethic.
  • 7+ years experience in architecture.  Experience in the industrial, laboratory or healthcare sectors preferred.
  • Professional architectural degree or equivalent
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD preferred
  • Architecture license preferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Position: Intern Architect

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities may vary to align with the candidate’s skill set, but may include:

  • Drafting
  • Animation and Rendering
  • Construction Documentation
  • Detailing
  • Construction Administration
  • Assist in the production of Statements of Qualifications and marketing materials
  • Qualifications

  • Candidates should be self-motivated, a team player and have a strong work ethic.
  • 2-5 years experience in architecture or related field
  • Professional architectural degree
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Knowledge of Lumion and InDesign a plus.

  • Position: Interior Designer

    Qualifications

    • Candidates should be self-motivated, a team player and have a strong work ethic.
    • 7+ years experience in interior architecture or related field
    • Proficiency in selection and specification of FF&E
    • Professional architectural, interior design or CIDA accredited program
    • Proficiency in ArchiCAD preferred
    • NCIDQ / CID a plus, but not required
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities may vary to align with the candidate’s skill set, but may include:
    • Space Planning
    • Development, presentation, coordination, cost, and specification of interior finishes and furnishings
    • Research, select, design, and resolve building and materials assembly and details
    • Communicate with consultants, contractors, sub-consultants and other disciplines to resolve project details and technical issues
